Account & Getting Started

No. Guests can generate one free, watermarked preview cover per day with no sign-up required. Creating an account is only needed once you want to unlock a clean, print-ready download, access more formats, or save covers to your library.

Click Sign in from any tool’s top bar, then choose Sign up. You can register with an email and password, or sign in instantly with Google or GitHub. If you generated a guest preview before registering, it’s automatically attached to your new account.

On the sign-in page, select Forgot password and enter the email tied to your account. You’ll receive a reset link within a few minutes — check your spam folder if it doesn’t arrive. If you signed up with Google or GitHub, use that provider’s login instead; there’s no separate Phantex password to reset.

Yes. Email privacy@phantex.io from your account address and request deletion — we’ll permanently remove your account, generated files, and personal data within 30 days, except where we’re required to retain billing records for legal or tax purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

One account and one credit balance work across the entire Inkizo/Phantex suite — Cover Studio, Listing Engine, Ads Campaign Studio, Content Engine, and the KDP Niche Finder. You don’t need to register separately for each tool.

Credits & Billing

Credits are a prepaid balance you spend to run AI generations. Cost scales with how much you generate at once — for example, requesting a paperback, hardcover, and eBook together costs less per format than generating them one at a time. Your balance is visible at all times in the top bar of every tool.

Click the Buy Credit button in any tool’s top bar, choose a top-up package, and pay securely through our checkout. Credits are added to your balance instantly once payment is confirmed.

No — purchased credits remain in your balance indefinitely and don’t expire. Only generated cover files have a storage window (typically 48 hours for unpaid previews), not the credits themselves.

Yes. Unused, un-spent credits can be refunded to your original payment method within 14 days of purchase. Credits already spent on a successfully delivered generation are not refundable — see our full Refund & Returns Policy for the complete breakdown of eligible and non-eligible cases.

This shouldn’t happen — our system automatically refunds credits to your balance whenever a generation errors out or fails to complete. If you see a charge for a failed generation that wasn’t reversed automatically, contact billing@phantex.io with the approximate time of the attempt and we’ll correct it right away.

We accept all major debit and credit cards through our secure payment processor. We do not store your full card details on Phantex servers — payment data is handled entirely by our PCI-compliant processor.

Yes. All checkout traffic runs over encrypted connections, and card data is processed directly by our payment provider — it never touches our own servers. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle account and billing data more broadly.

Cover Studio & AI Generation

Paperback (front + back + spine), hardcover (with wraparound board and hinge), and eBook cover — each sized precisely to your page count, paper type, and trim size, including custom dimensions. All three can be generated together in a single request.

Guest previews are watermarked so they can’t be used commercially before purchase. Sign in and spend credits to unlock the same cover — it’s re-rendered from the original artwork without the watermark, at full print resolution, with no need to regenerate from scratch.

By default, generated artwork is kept for 48 hours. If you’ve claimed a cover to your account but haven’t unlocked it yet, it’s kept longer so you have time to top up. Once unlocked (paid), your cover stays in My Covers for ongoing access and re-download.

Yes. The Author bio & photo card lets you upload a transparent PNG/WEBP cutout for a clean, background-free placement, plus a short bio. The Logo card lets you place a publisher or brand mark on the front cover, back cover, or both, with full control over size and position.

Once your front cover is generated, we automatically send it back to the AI as a visual reference so the back cover continues the same colors, lighting, and artwork style across the spine — instead of generating an unrelated background. It’s on by default and falls back gracefully to a standalone back-cover design if it ever fails.

Yes — enable Image Reference and upload a photo, illustration, or existing cover you’d like the result to feel similar to. The AI matches its color palette, lighting, and overall visual style without copying its exact composition or subject.

Each generation is a fresh AI request and is charged accordingly, even if a previous attempt didn’t match what you had in mind. To get closer to your vision without repeated cost, refine your prompt, mood, and style selections, or use the Image Reference or Custom Prompt cards to give the AI more specific direction before generating again.

Once you unlock (pay for) a cover, you receive full commercial usage rights to publish it — on Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, or anywhere else. Watermarked guest previews are for evaluation only and shouldn’t be used for actual publishing.

Cover Style sets the overall rendering approach — realistic, cinematic, minimal, typographic, and so on. Mood layers a color palette and atmosphere on top of that style — warm and golden, moody and dark, vivid and bold. Combining the two gives you precise creative control before a single credit is spent.

$PHTX & Crypto

$PHTX is the Phantex ecosystem token on BNB Chain. It’s a separate product from platform credits — credits pay for AI generation tools, while $PHTX is a tradable crypto asset connected through your own wallet.

No — they’re completely separate. Credits are an internal balance tracked in our own database and used only to pay for generation tools. $PHTX is an on-chain cryptocurrency with its own market value. You cannot currently convert one into the other.

Our presale and token tools support any wallet compatible with WalletConnect or Reown, including MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and most major BNB Chain wallets.

No. Once a $PHTX transaction is confirmed on-chain, it’s irreversible by design — this is true of blockchain transactions generally, not a Phantex-specific policy, and we have no technical ability to reverse a confirmed transfer. Please double-check wallet addresses and transaction amounts before confirming.

No. Connecting a wallet never gives us custody of your funds or your private keys — you approve every transaction individually from your own wallet, and Phantex only reads publicly available on-chain data associated with the address you connect.
